wild west gun show

At Circle M City, we offer educational experiences for any size class, school, homeschool group or scout pack. The town features a chapel, mercantile, bank, saloon, undertaker (with horse-drawn hearse!), livery stable, printing press, blacksmith, museum, jail, costume room, opera house, and horses.

Groups can wander the town at their leisure, bring a packed lunch. Some buildings are handicap accessible. There are benches and chairs throughout the town for rest.

Activities such as Wagon Rides, Old-Time costume photo shoots, Calf Roping, Barn Dancing, Town Tours and a Wild West Show with Sheriff Tim and Crazy Kate, performing trick roping, gunslinging and ax throwing. (Entertainment, education and comedy all wrapped in one!)

Old West Museum

THE OLD WEST MUSEUM located inside the J & H Livery Stables features a self-guided tour of the history of the old west. Each booth expresses different themes such as Mountain Men, Civil War, Outlaws and the Lawmen, Medieval Knights, Women, Children, Cowboys, Hollywood movies and Western Arts. Exhibits also cover the Native Americans, Mexican Vaqueros and African American cowboys like Bill Pickett, who invented the sport of Bull Dogging!

You’ll find barbed wire displays, antique rodeo posters, clothing from various eras, antique farm equipment that tell the story of role of horses and the famous figures that rode them!

Ecosystem Biome Study

Ecosystems and biomes at Marsh Farms. Students will visit different biomes, including deciduous forest, desert, grasslands, and aquatic.

You will discuss our horses learned and non-learned behavior patterns, and may see species of birds, deer, fox, barn cats, turtles and other forest friends in their natural habitats. You will also find plant life, insects and fauna to explore and identify. Sturdy shoes, water bottles and a bag with your nature journaling supplies and sketchbook are needed. Bug spray and sunscreen are suggested. Water bottle fill-up stations are available, A bagged lunch to be enjoyed in our Livery Stables.

Scout Badges

Marsh Stables/Circle M City has partnered with Boy and Girl Scouts to develop a unique Scout badge. In this collaborative adventure, we can tailor the content to your age group and their interests.
